General Assemblies

The core of Model United Nations. Tried and tested at UNC since 1938—this year with a twist. General Assemblies (GAs) form our largest committees, and with current, historical, and contemporary topics to choose from, there is something for everyone.

(40-80 Delegates)

Specialized committees

GA but smaller and full of fun mechanics, twists, and turns. Choose a Specialized Committee (SPEC) for a truly immersive simulation experience where you tackle real-life challenges just like a world leader.

(20-35 Delegates)

Non-traditional Crises

Tailored to challenge experienced delegates with significant crises, these committees operate with procedures and formats exclusively designed by UNCMUNC to provide a unique experience you won’t see anywhere else!

A North American Model United Nations classic. Crisis Committees immerse you in the action and require you to be constantly on your feet, writing, speaking, and scheming all at once—with guaranteed surprises.

(20-25 Delegates)

Joint-Crisis committee

A traditional crisis committee, but elevated. UNCMUNC’s three-way-JCC is back with a vengeance. Choose the JCC to work with up to 60 delegates simultaneously as you navigate unexpected challenges and unprecedented coordination in a little-seen part of history.
