UNCMUNC is a large and highly ranked Model United Nations conference in North America, remaining the most prestigious in the Southern United States and hosted on our beautiful campus in late November. Every year, we attract delegates from many different states across the continent. Our Secretariat is the key to the success of each year's UNCMUNC. We recruit the most compassionate, skilled, and innovative leaders from the Carolina community to join our team. By becoming a part of our Secretariat, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to conference planning, strategic marketing, human resources, problem-solving, and other valuable skills.
OPEN POSITIONS

The Director of Delegate Affairs is responsible for facilitating communication between our Secretariat and the many delegations that attend UNCMUNC annually, involving constant and efficient communication.

With the ultimate goal of executing UCMUNC flawlessly, the Director of Operations creates the conference program, logistics, and pre-planning for an effective weekend in November. This position requires strategic planning and critical thinking.

The Director of Academic Affairs plays a vital role in our conference as they are responsible for managing the backgrounds of all committees. This includes editing our background guides and all written documents. They work alongside our Senior Staff to ensure the proper execution of our historical, traditional, and non-traditional agendas.

The Director of Public Relations is responsible for outreach, building strong partnerships and sponsorships with organizations that benefit our delegates and staff, including charities, hotels, social venues, and corporations.

Our Director of Training and Development collaborates closely with our Chief of Staff to oversee and enhance our staff training program. This program is designed to provide an exceptional experience for the Model UN circuit year after year. The Director is responsible for developing and improving our training initiatives and helping our staff advance their skills.

Our Under Secretary-Generals oversee 3-6 committees personally before, during, and after UNCMUNC. They may apply to lead General Assemblies, Crisis Committees, and Non-Traditional bodies.
