MEET our SECRETARIAT
Secretary-General
Marvin Lee
Marvin is a senior from Nashville, TN, majoring in Public Policy and Peace, War, and Defense with a Business minor. He first got involved with Model UN during his first year at Case Western Reserve University and continued after transferring to UNC, where he competes on the collegiate circuit and has led the team as Head Delegate. He served as Director of Logistics for UNCMUNC XVI and was the head chair for the Carmen Sandiego crisis at UNCMUNC XV. Marvin is grateful and thrilled to be running UNCMUNC XVII as Secretary-General, and outside of CIRA, you can find Marvin in the press box as a sportswriter for The Daily Tar Heel, listening to an inordinate amount of music, and riding buses as an intern for the MBTA and WMATA.
Director-General
Pranav Nemani
Pranav Nemani is a junior hailing from Cary, NC, by way of Wisconsin, double-majoring in Public Policy and Advertising and Public Relations. He started his involvement in Model UN in his freshman year at UNC after being an on-paper (but nothing else) member in high school. He competes on the collegiate circuit with CarolinaMUN and says he hates MUN but has somehow been to 5 conferences in two years. He general staffed UNCMUNC XV and served as the Under-Secretary-General of General Assemblies at UNCMUNC XVI. Outside of CIRA, you can find Pranav in depressive states when the Packers lose, watching incredibly sad UNC games, listening to country music, teaching kids how to swim so they can get D1 offers unlike himself, and galavanting across North America.
Chief of Staff
Kayla Giset
Kayla is a junior Public Policy and English double major and PPE minor from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. When she’s not building Star Wars Legos or writing movie reviews (thecinemagazine.com– shameless plug), there’s no secret third option because that’s what she loves doing. You will almost always find her deeply invested in a cheesy romance novel and, if the time of day is right, singing and dancing to country music! She’s been competing in MUN since high school, and in a shocking turn of events, has continued doing so into her third year at UNC. UNCMUNC (and all the people she’s met through it) has become a staple of her college experience, and she can’t wait to share it all with you guys. See y’all in November, and Go Heels!

When she’s not double del-ing or emailing head dels, she loves to watch Carolina basketball, listen to new music, and try new foods on Franklin St! Feel free to reach out to her with questions about anything UNCMUNC (except how to pronounce her position title)!
Director of Logistics
Irine Raju
Irine is a junior from Cary, NC majoring in Political Science and Peace, War, and Defense. She’s been doing Model UN since sophomore year of high school and was Head Delegate of UNC’s travel team last year. When she is not spending an abnormal amount of time doing MUN, she is watching rom coms, playing soccer, or at another overpriced coffee shop. She was a USG for UNCMUNC last year and is extremely excited to be Director of Logistics this year. She cannot wait to see delegates from the circuit again and to meet new delegates at UNCMUNC XVII!!!
Director of Operations
Jordyn Viviers
Jordyn Viviers is a sophomore from Chapel Hill, NC, majoring in Applied Sciences with a minor in Studio Arts and Statistics. Starting in 8th grade, Jordyn found her love for Model UN despite no intention to do anything related in her future career. She is excited to be a part of UNCMUNC and looks forward to getting to organize MUN at the school that was her favorite to compete at in high school. Besides Model UN, she is most likely found on the field hockey field or running around campus with a box of robotics gadgets in her hands. She loves to do art, write poetry, go hiking, and just have a good time with her friends.
Dylan Lithgow is a sophomore splitting his roots between Philly and Raleigh and double-majoring in Business and Political Science with an Economics minor. Sparked by high school Youth and Government, Dylan recently joined Model UN to prep for a career blending law and business. When he’s not studying, you’ll catch him shooting hoops at Woolen Gym or working out at the SRC. Dylan also researches under Grata Connects to support Orange County’s homeless population and drive environmental cleanups. If you’re looking to find him outside of these places, check Moge Tea, as that’s where he fuels his work with some boba.

Aiden is beyond excited to orchestrate the best UNCMUNC America has seen yet.
Rohan is a junior from Cary, North Carolina, majoring in Biology and Chemistry. He’s been involved in MUN since high school, and has served as both a crisis staffer & CD at the last two UNCMUNCs. When he’s not doomscrolling, his favorite activities are watching/playing sports and going on impromptu side quests. After also having competed at a few collegiate conferences, his favorite part about MUN is being able to ragebait delegates, and is looking forward to doing so as both a co-Director of Academic Affairs and Crisis Chair at UNCMUNC XVII!
