Letter from the

director General

Hi y’all!

This year, UNCMUNC will feature 17 committees, celebrating 17 years of running our conference on our beautiful campus in historic Chapel Hill.

At UNCMUNC, we pride ourselves on running some of the most innovative committees on the circuit. For years, we've pushed the boundaries of what Model United Nations can be, a prime example being our signature dynamic crisis that lets delegates juggle multiple committee positions simultaneously. We also stay true to the classics, whether that be General Assemblies tackling polarizing issues, or traditional crisis committees with creative topics you won't find anywhere else.

From the creation of the League of Nations to a College Football Coaches Summit on NIL, and UNCMUNC's one-of-a-kind Dynamic Crisis, our slate of committees is sure to have something for everyone. Over the coming months, our dedicated secretariat and senior staff will be working hard to deliver the immersive, engaging experiences that UNCMUNC has become known for, truly rewriting the playbook on what Model UN can be.

Our full committee slate will be released soon, and we can't wait to see you all in November as you creatively unpack and work through your committees. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out!

Looking forward to seeing y'all (even Dook) in the fall!

Go Heels!
