A SPECIALIZED COMMITTEE

ABOUT THIS COMMITTEE

The Christians had a better chance against the lions than the American consumer has against the OPEC cartel. —Senator Ed Markey

Just months ago, crude oil was trading at record highs. Now, prices are plummeting as the global economy unravels. It’s late 2008, and OPEC stands at a crossroads: cut production to keep prices afloat and risk losing market share, or flood the market, appeasing global buyers while profits disappear. Beyond the oil cartel, rival producers wait unconstrained and eager to seize any opportunity. Unity promises stability, but betrayal whispers of profit taken alone.

Set your quotas, strike your deals, and watch your “allies” closely. The market is falling.
